As they say, pancakes are brown on both sides. Syrup makes them more delicious, but also more difficult to transport. Ever try putting one in your pocket? No

Actuary I don't know about her at all.
This is my permanent residents place.
I will live in here for longer so I don't want to let unknown pweson

Also I can not believe she comes over here even at weekday night.
Please understand what I'm feeling and thinking.
It is very very hard to tell you seriously.

merry christmas!

hey kids, christmas was nice. Mellow. We spent the day lounging around, eating, movies, baths, wine, sleep. Christmas night we went to see the christmas lights in tokyo. they blocked off 5 blocks of the city and set up tonnes of lights. The line up was about 2 blocks and moved way slow. we actually spent 2 and a half hours in line. standing for 10, then shuffling forward with little baby steps. rinse repeat. There were so many cell phones and cameras videoing the thing. I think more people were viewing it through a screen than with eyes. lots of toes got stepped on. I think the best part was when the lights shut off at 9pm and 100,000 people went awwwwwwww more pics at http://www.flickr.com/photos/freebeets/

haku

Ugh, I was sick like dog. 16 hrs or sleep and hidemi taking awesome care o me fixed me up though. Haku, not to be confused with haiku is vomit. I lazed around the next day and watched a bunch of queer eye episodes. It totally inspired me-dont worry mom- to fix the place up. I moved into the place my vice principal lived in, and I dont think she ever really moved in. I tossed most of her stuff and finally braved the bathroom. It was disgusting. Japanese bathrooms have a huge hair trap that is supposed to be cleaned once and a while. I pulled out handfulls of hair and funk... There were small flies, mold... It was seriously one of the most gross things Ive ever seen. I usually use hippy soap to clean, but this was war. I worried about biological agents, staph infection, leprosy.

moved!

well, its been a while since I did any bloggin. Moving was a bit hectic and I still dont have an internet connection at home. Its quite a relief to not have a smoky roomate to come home to. I was getting so sick of her "hhhmmm yeah, how are you? ahhh, yeah, good. I am happy for you" junk. I slipped out a day early and left the money on the counter-I didnt want to deal with her looking the room over or any fake goodbyes.
The trains were down because of high winds so hidemi and I lugged my bags around till they got back online.
The new pad is tiny. Small room, smaller kitchen, and even smaller bathroom. Its on the first floor and shakes when trucks go by. I can walk to work, so my commute is down to 5 minutes (both ways). More sleep and more time to do whatever.
So what else has been happening? Im building a "reading garden" with my class so Ive had them digging holes in the yard. None of them have ever dug holes before, so theyre all psyched. Ive made digging a reward for good work. Were going to put in the posts and pour cement tomorrow.
Hidemi and I were out last night and I almost stepped in somebodies accident at the subway station. The police were trying to move an old bum out, so I figure he's the culprit. 1000's of people stepped in it, smushed and spread it all over. The smell was unbelievable. I thought about how that poop was making its way all over the city and into 1000's of homes. Good thing everyone takes off their shoes...

I came home from work yesterday and lots of lights were on, and the fridge was wide open. I saw that the light in roomies room was on from under her door so I called her name but got no answer. Ive never snuck a peek into her room, and wanted to keep it that way. Whenever we pass by eachother in the hall she squeezes out the door, holding it as close to her as she can. I started to wonder if she was passed out or something but I didnt want to see the evil workings of her lair...
(She came home later that night)
