It was a beautiful day, so I took my class to the park and we read and had a picnic. It was a great day. They are all super into reading and helping eachother become better readers. I sat there and watched them all sitting in the grass, on benches or on those wiggle rides, reading away. We found some grasshoppers (batta) and a kamakiri. Unlike previous kids Ive worked with, nobody wanted to kill things just for "fun".
