Hidemi and I went on a 200 km ride this week from Tsurumi to Okutama. It was mostly along the Tamagawa river so the riding was pretty mellow. Its amazing to see all the homeless homes put up along the water-they know how to build. They frame it up and use a lot of tarps. Fenced in yards, chimney, garden. I even saw one with a tv antenna. The river is pretty filthy though. What do you expect for tokyo, I guess. We cleaned up a few spots where we camped.
It felt great to be on a bike for days in a row again... I cant wait to do it again someplace.
