The plan was to go to a ryokan this weekend, but everything was booooked so we ended up going to Kamakura and enoshima. Its on the ocean and there was some "hiking" and a few temples... We stayed at a place called hotel happy call. Its normal for people to live with their parents till they are 40 or married here, so when people need a little privacy or a place to have an affair they go to "love hotels". Theyre often themed rooms that you pay for by the hour or you can overnight there. We found a room with dolphins and shells and "ocean waves" from some sounds of nature cd pumping. There was a huge neon gambling machine in the corner also- just like on Japanese beaches, and a couple interesting vending machines. It all looked much classier with the black lights on.
