ahh summa vacation! besides being a totally good karma job, teaching lets the be totally lazy for 2 months in a row. Bring on the projects! Lose the razor, don't wear a watch, forget what day it is, go on long bike rides, sleeping in, reading, study japanese.
In other news, I am free from horizon. What a horrible place that turned out to be. 11 people out of 20 left this year. Psyched to be moving to a great new school in Tokyo. Moving house next month and will have 20.23 sq meters. Way bigger than my current 15.72 sq meters (I love how Japanese apartments give it to you to the hundreth of a meter). Ive learned a lot from living in this space. Everything-even that coffee cup takes up space in your 15.72 sq meters. Buy the smallest version, especially if it doubles as something else. Ill be in Chiba which is about 10 min outside of tokyo. Not the swankiest of locals, but its cheap, big(ish) and everything is included. I had to pay for the whole year in one shot though, yikes
